Tom Springer biography
Tom Springer brings more than 25 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, interim management, technology, and transaction advisory.
He is a former CEO of a global private-equity portfolio company and a strategic advisor to the private-equity community. He has founded, operated, and sold multiple companies, and has led or participated in transactions ranging from smaller middle-market deals to enterprise M&A.
Tom helps owners create and unlock value by evaluating and preparing for recapitalizations, management buyouts, family transitions, third-party sales, and other forms of monetization. He is known for solving complex challenges for middle-market clients.
He began his career building software agents and management information bases on HP OpenView and Micromuse Netcool, the technical foundation for Potomac Allied’s agentic-AI platform.
His career has included roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, as a technology founder and operator, at Verizon Business, as CEO of a Carlyle portfolio company, at Alvarez & Marsal performing buy-side diligence for private equity, and as founder of an M&A advisory practice.
